How to number pages on Microsoft Word!

Let’s say you need to do a booklet style document and every page must be numbered. This is how to do it. Very simple to do. Just follow my guide and in no time you’ll see how easy it is… Let’s go!

On the top of your Microsoft Word document click on Insert.

Now take a look at the new options. On the right side of this menu take a look at the Page Number option.

Once clicked on Page Number a scrolled down menu will offer the position (style) you want the numeration.

I’m going to select Plain Number 3 . This will allow my page numeration on the bottom-right of each page.

Once selected the style you want (in this case Plain Number 3) you will see you already have it assigned to your pages. Automatically they will number themselves.

This is how it will look if you choose to number your pages on the top right.

And that’s all. Simple, right? Very similar adding Headers and Footers to Microsoft Word documents.
